MSI Gaming X trio has very bad VRM and GDDR6 memory temps (hardware unboxed) – even despite having a very low VRM power limit among the whole lot !!! MSI really did take lot of corner cutting. What do you think its oc performance ? Would it be worth ocing or leave it at stock forever? Since it seems they dont want to OC at all with the low max power temp…

my EVGA FTW 3070 runs temps from 65-70 under load but i’m certain this is due to my case

Finally was able to get a 3070 and I lucked out and got the Aorus Master. From these graphs and what I have seen about the cooler this thing is going to overclock like an absolute beast.
Palit gamerock OC or EVGA FTW3 ? which one should I get ?
PNY, Palit, and Powercolor are garbo. There only relevant because they can snag some 3070 boards and call it their own. I've seen reviews and most of their cards are low quality. And only comparing power limits doesn't make a card better, its just guessing.
Just watched this after purchasing a Gigabyte Vision OC, pretty happy!
Best review, love it. Gave up on MSI 5 years ago, after my motherboard failed. Best engineers can't save it, if the beans counters run the company.

The Strix is as you mentioned the" no corners cut card" but at that price point, you're getting close to the lower 3080s. So if you're strictly after price to performance, the 3070 Strix is a bit of a hard sell
