Walk The Talk With NK Singh, 15th Finance Commission Chairman n k singh finance commission

  1. While Mr. Jaitley promised much more funds than what SCS could have achieved, he didn't even bother to release a memo on how they are going to give the funds. Even in the last budget nothing was allotted to Andhra.

  2. 15 th Financial Commission Those with more than 2 children or whose parents have more than 2 children should not be allowed to contest elections .Narendra Modi should ask his mother why she had 6 children. Even Tejasvi and Tejpal should ask Laloo yadav why he had 9 children.Northern states reproduce too much.

  3. Nk singh shldnt discuss politics. Jaitley given 'much more' than promised is a biggest lie. There was nothing additional in the budget. Similarly Bihar was also promised 1.25cr.

  4. The southern states should ask for the elimination of the finance commission and ask for a simple formula say 80% of revenues go to the state and 20% to the central. The southern states can donate any funds that are left over to the northern states. you won't donate all your savings to charity.

  5. clearly shows how ill-prepared Shekhar Gupta is for the interview. NK Singh has to basically explain him plan/non-plan.. special category status, etc. Please do a little homework before talking to such a personality to get the best out of them

  6. This is a classic answer that describes the attitude of central governments towards the states. Mr.Sing, as is the case of central government and BJP, speaks half of the fact. Mr.Sing conveniently (falsely) states that Mr. Jaitley has given an equivalent benefits of special category status. But Mr. Jaitley has not given anything (a big zero) upto now only stating that he will give equivalent if not more. He has been saying the same answer for last four years with out any allocations for four years. When the government of Andhra Pradesh asked for specific plans, the answer Mr. Jaitley evades to answer and the final statement was, "we can not starve the military of funding for sake of Andhra Pradesh"- a cheap, callous and arrogant statement.

It is really disheartening to hear such lies being propagated by people like Mr.Sing, who is now a Chairman of Finance Commission, whose responsibility at a minimum is to be fair. Propagating a political statement (a lie) without any hesitation will raise serious doubts on the institutional fairness and integrity of the Finance Commission for all the people of Andhra Pradesh. To state that its a political claim to ask for special status and not a legitimate and genuine demand tells me that Andhra Pradesh is about to cheated out its legitimate interests once more buy partisan, self righteous people like Mr. Singh.

For people who does not follow the Andhra bifercation, Mr.Jaitley, was one of the person who demanded for special status. Also Mr.Modi, while campaigning in Andhra promised he would give special status, so did the then prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. One of the BJP MLA (Mr. Kishan Reddy) now claims that Mr. Modi just read a prepared statement and he really did'nt mean what he stated because he is not aware of the rules of the special category status.

Finally, it is disappointing to say the least, a senior journalist like Mr. Shekar Gupta not asking followup questions to Mr. Sigh as to why the central government has not done anything for last four years. So this interview seems to me like a pre scripted interview, a PR stunt, by the central government, to abdicate its duty to follow the law and keep its promises to the people Andhra Pradesh.
