I feel for you. That shouldn't happen but what l have come to realise about relationships or marriages is that the good ones always end up with bad partners. On rare occasions does a good men meets a good women and vice versa which is sad. It would be better for the bad ones to end up with one another.
I did almost the same thing , I financed my own Rurachio, and anything that was eaten on that day it was from my own pocket, told I'm on my own, those men who can't finance a wedding or Rurachio girls , run for your life.
